Born from the mystical Welsh legend of the ‘Mabinogi’, OTHERWORLD is a journey of adventure and danger to a distant world. A world in which dreams can come true for those brave enough to confront their feelings. The film explores a variety of teenage problems when three friends, Lleu, Dan and Rhiannon plunge beneath the ocean waters to enter the OTHERWORLD. As the friends swim through the underwater ‘gateway’ they travel back in time to a forgotten world. Here they are transformed into animated characters and each undertakes a different, wonder-filled journey that parallels their contemporary dilemma.
